The Patient Journey
Our main priority is to achieve excellent gum, and dental health for you. We aim to save your teeth, and make sure that you have an aesthetic and functional dentition.
Once dental health has been achieved we are able to replace missing teeth with dental implants.
Upon completion of treatment we make sure that you are able to maintain your gum and dental health long term.
Most patients come to see us through a referral from their general dentists. If you would like to attend our practice for specialist dental care, then ask for a referral from your dentist.
You can also self-refer, by calling our new patient co-ordinators and organising a consultation appointment.
Our opening hours are as follows:
Reception is open from 9am til 5pm.
We also provide an emergency service for patients being treated at the practice. In certain circumstances we do provide treatment sessions on saturdays.
This consultation session will be with one of our highly trained dental practitioners. The consultation will involve the following:
Initial Interview: Thorough questioning to assess your personal needs and what you would like to achieve.
Dental Health Assessment: This includes an Oral Cancer Screening, detailed examination of your teeth, gums, and jaw.
Special Investigations: These include radiographs of your teeth and jaws, impressions of your teeth to assess how your teeth meet, and clinical photographs (if necessary).
Discussion of treatment options and costs invovled: We will give you treatment options, and provide you with cost estimates. We like to involve you in the decision making process.
Written Report: Following your consultation, we will analyse all information, and send a report to your referring dentist, with a copy of any radiographs taken. We also send you a report with suggested options and treatments.
