Deciding on whether a tooth is saveable or not, is a difficult decision to make. There are a number of factors that need to be taken into consideration, including the prognosis of the tooth, predictability of the treatment suggested and overall benefit to the patient. This lecture will aim to address these issues from an endodontic, and periodontic/implant perspective. Cases will be selected and discussed and the merits of each treatment approach evaluated.
